Symptom

Recruiter encounters an error when try to initiate onboarding 1.0 process

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Status Ready to Hire
  2. Select a candidate
  3. Take Action - Initiate Onboarding
  4. Error pop ups: Unable to initiate onboarding process. [ErrorCode - 206; ErrorMessage - Start date is invalid]

Cause

Issue with Start Date format or it is offset (Negative Number)

Resolution

To resolve the issue you need to find the start date first.

Check Setup Onbording Integration tool to find where the Start Date comes from. In this case the Offer Letter

Run a report on Last Offer Details

Fix the issue with Start Date and the issue is resolved.
