2548787 - Could not explode phantom assembly MD511 and BOM PDS transfer not possible!

Symptom

The system landscape is based on a S/4HANA System as standalone or together with a dedicated SCM installation. When a planned order or production order gets created the corresponding queue gets stopped in ERP (S/4HANA) inbound with error message "Could not explode phantom assembly" - error number MD511. Of you try to send a BOM PDS from S4 to ePPDS or SCM APO.
