2548795 - Cannot create a second plan for the same Sales Unit with different horizon which overlaps the existing plan

While creating a Sales Plan, the system does not allow to have two different horizons which overlaps the existing plan for same Sales Unit and system shows the following exceptions:

A: "Please enter another plan ID."

B: "Planning horizon overlaps another plan. Select a planning horizon that is not selected by another plan."

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Sales Target Planning view.
3. Click on New.
4. Create a New Sales Plan with different horizons which overlaps the existing plan for same Sales Unit

System shows the following exceptions:

A: "Please enter another plan ID."

B: "Planning horizon overlaps another plan. Select a planning horizon that is not selected by another plan."

The overlapping of horizons for the same sales unit is not possible.

This is expected system behaviour by-design.

The system does not allow overlapping of horizons for the same sales unit.
