2549006 - Legal Entity is not available on Add New Hire Wizard

Symptom

A specific role is unable to select the Legal Entity on Add New Hire Wizard. When the employe select "Legal Entity" picklist the system returns "No Data" and the users are unable to create new hires.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Add New Employee
  3. Select the Legal Entity field

Cause

In Add New Employee wizard the existing RBP permissions are not applicable to New Hire & Rehire since the employee's data is not yet confirmed in the system, including the relationship dat. However, the MDF Foundation objects permissions need to be granted to this Role in RBP.

Resolution

  1. Go to Admin Center
  2. Manage Permission Roles
  3. Select the desired role
  4. Add the standard MDF Foundation Objects Permissions
