2549086 - User has access to all Reporting menus in Workforce Analytics or Online Report Designer despite restrictions

Symptom

A user can see all menus in the Reporting tab menu in WFA/ORD, even if the role does not allow "View All Menus" or permission the specific menu.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Analytics (WFA, ORD)

Cause

Access to all menus is granted to a user if its role has one or more of these Actions unrestricted:

  • View All Menus
  • Menu Building
  • Report Designer Admin

The third one is included because a report administrator can see all reports regardless.

Resolution

To hide some or all menus, restrict all of these actions in roles pertaining to the target users.
