2549139 - Time Type Is Not Available In Time Sheet UI

Time type is not available in Time Sheet UI.

1. Go to Employee's Time sheet UI page.
2. Click on a day and then on drop down of the field Time Type.
3. Time type is not present even though time type created is of type attendance and added in the employee's time profile.

If the time types are not displayed only in ESS scenario, it usually is caused by the fact that the time type has got 'Enabled in employee self-service scenario' is set to 'No' in Time Profile.

Or the time type may be filtered out for display on Time Sheet UI due to Time Type Filter configuration.

1. Go to Time Profile of the employee, make sure that time type of attendance is added and 'Enabled in employee self-service scenario' is set to 'Yes'.
2. For each time type assigned in a time profile, you can decide whether to enable it for the Employee Self-Service (ESS) scenario or not.
• Choose 'Yes' to allow employees to record time against the time type in their time sheet.
• Choose 'No' to restrict editing of the time type to authorized employees, such as a time administrator.

Time Type Filter is also introduced as of 2311 release, so that you can further hide the time type from selection on the UI even after the 'Enabled in employee self-service scenario' is set to 'Yes'. So once you find the time type is not displayed even when it is enabled for ESS, please check wether there is time type filter rule assigned in Details of the time type in Time Profile object.

RBP to the time type is also needed to allow your accessibility to the time type, after you have already set the 'Enabled in employee self-service scenario' is set to 'Yes' without any time type filter rule assigned.
