2549768 - "Error [Server]: Fatal Runtime Exception occured" appears when creating a model in SAP Analytics Cloud based on Live Data Connection to S/4HANA

• "Error [Server]: Fatal Runtime Exception occured; MsgClass:" error message appears in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC) when creating a model based on S/4HANA connection.

• Below error shows up when opening a previously model created from S/4HANA connection:
  "Firefly Error: Error [Server]: Fatal Runtime Exception occured; MsgClass: Error [Server]: Fatal Runtime Exception occured; MsgClass: Error [Server]: (#800) You do not have the authorization for component <QUERYNAME>; MsgClass: BRAIN Warning [Server]: (#800) BRAIN(800): You do not have the authorization for component <QUERYNAME>; MsgClass:"

• GetResponse call returns 200 in Chrome Dev Tool but the Preview or Response tab contain the error message

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017
• Live Data Connection to S/4HANA

1. After logging into SAP Analytics Cloud, go to Modeler.
2. Create a new model by using a successfully created S/4HANA Connection OR try to open a previously created model (based on S/4HANA connection)
3. Error message shows up in the Modeler after choosing an S/4 query or right after trying to open a previously created model.

The S/4HANA user does not have authorization to consume data from the specific S/4HANA query.

Grant authorization to the user in order access the query successfully from SAP Analytics Cloud.
