The country specific "Global info fields" that are intended for the employee only, are also shown for the dependent

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - dependent

1. Go to Global information of a dependent
2. All the "Global info" fields of the employee are also shown

• Current Product Behavior is that All Global Info fields that display for Employees will also display for Dependent
• There are a specific set of Global Info fields (for certain countries, not all countries) which will only display in Dependents > Personal Info > Global Info

The Country Specifics handbook contains details for countries with Dependents specific Global Info fields: Employee Central Country Specifics

"generic" and "address" fields are defined specifically for countries. These are the pre-delivered fields for capturing Global Information. It is not supported to configure a "generic" field for a country, when it is not supported for the country.

You can find an accurate and up to date list of fields in the Employee Central Country Specifics handbook. Make sure to consult this handbook regularly when implementing new Global Information fields for any country.

Note:

1. Do not remove any standard field from the data model
2. Only set the visibility to "none" if you are not using

If there is a requirement for more fields for a country than are currently delivered, please ensure you use a "custom" field for this purpose, such as -:

• custom-string
• custom-date
• custom-double
• custom-long

You can find the usable range of these custom fields for Global Information in the Data Object Tables in Employee Central handbook

• There is a plan to improve the Dependent functionality in a future release (no confirmed date)
