2550346 - Unable to add Alternate Job code

When adding an Alternate Job Code to a user within the LMS application User Related section, the below error is received:

Validation Error
You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

• The job code ID is invalid.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

• Scenario 1: Attempt to add an alternate job code to a user that already has the assigned job code

OR

• Scenario 2: Attempt to Add an ID within the search field that does not exactly match a valid alternate job code ID

• For the first scenario, this is a validation error as by design to inform that the user already is assigned the job code.
• For the second scenario, the search defaults to a 'Starts With' operator not an 'Any' and the typed ID does not match any current valid alternate job code ID.

• Ensure the alternate job code ID was not already assigned to the user and that it was typed correctly or use fewer characters in the search.
• Alternatively, use the "Find from list" option to select multiple and valid alternate job code IDs.
