2550351 - Tags used for Time Off Workflow Notifications

Symptom

  • What tags are supported for a Time Off Workflow Notification?
  • Are there tags that show start date and end date of a time off request?
  • Can I show the type of time off request?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Cloud
  • Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure the Object Definition
  2. Create the Alert Message
  3. Not sure what tags can be used in the 'Time Off' request workflow

Cause

Development has created extra tags that can be used for Time Off only.

Resolution

 For Time Off, you can use these additional Tags:

  • Subject user in the format [[SUBJECT_USER]]
  • Time off Start date in format [[START_DATE]]
  • Time off end date in format [[END_DATE]]
  • Time off type (PTO or Maternity Leave) in format [[TIME_OFF_TYPE]]
  • Time Off Status (Pending, Pending Approval, or Cancelled) in format [[TIME_OFF_STATUS]]

Note: Make sure to always add the tags using the double brackets.
