2550459 - BIB: Error when determining the personnel number of a new Employee upon hiring

Symptom

During the replication of a new Employee from SFSF EC to SAP ERP or S/4 HANA with BIB one of the following error messages appears in the corresponding application logs (transaction SLG1):

  • "Personnel number 00000000 not permitted" (PBAS_SERVICE 030)
  • "Enter a personnel number" (PG 000)
  • "Personnel number is not within interval for number range XX"(PG034)
