2551248 - Integrating Time Off With Microsoft Outlook Calendar

Is there a possibility to intergate Time Off with users Outlook calendar?

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

• This is taken up as an enhancement (TIM-13429) which is confirmed for the 2H 2022 release. 
• With this enhancement, employees will be able to download the calendar file on submission of a leave request and save it in their calendar.
• As part of the employee self-service scenario, you as an employee can submit a leave request using the Quick Action  Request Time Off screen, the Time Off screen, or the New Time Sheet UI screen. After submitting your leave request, you can now download the calendar file in ICS format. Open this calendar file in your calendar application and save it to block your calendar. After you save the calendar file, if your time off isn’t approved, you’ve to delete this event manually from your calendar. If you modify your leave request, delete the earlier saved calendar and replace it with the latest calendar that you've downloaded.
• Permission required for this feature from b2211: Enable 'allow access to download the calendar file' from Manage Data -> Time Management Configuration object

• This blog explains how to do this using Intelligent Services to some degree.
• Please note this is not something we would support in EC support, as this is a custom integration.
• We deliver some standard IS rules in the SuccessStore that can be implement with IS > but to integrate with another system like MS Outlook Server, it would mean you use the IS notification to notify another server via API (via Boomi like in this article) to trigger some action in the other 3rd party (or SAP) system.
• For any queries on the API side, our Integration team (LOD-SF-INT) can help with that, but as for what happens when it leaves success factors - you would need some Microsoft expert to assist.
