2551489 - DSI Down Message 206: Operand type clash: INT is incompatible with MAINTENANCE TOKEN after ASE upgrade - SRS

Symptom

  • Upgraded replicate database server to SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) 16.0 SP03 PL01
  • DSI went down getting the following error message in the replication server errorlog:
    ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(923(1) RDS.RDB) - dsiqmint.c(4292)        
    Message from server: Message: 206, State 2, Severity 16 -- 'Operand type clash: INT is incompatible with MAINTENANCE TOKEN
    THREAD FATAL ERROR #5049 DSI EXEC(923(1) RDS.RDB) - dsiqmint.c(4305)        
    The DSI thread for database 'RDS.RDB' is being shutdown.
    DSI received data server error #206 which is mapped to STOP_REPLICATION.
  • DSI can be resumed without skipping transaction
