2551824 - Dump while data source preview

Dump is noticed in the system at the time of data source preview

Common steps here would be :-

• Go to Business Analytics
• Go to Design Data Source
• Search for the data source and click on preview
• Error "Report cannot be opened, report an case" is noticed at the bottom of screen

Check the data source document and review the number of characteristics and keyfigures present in the data source.
If the the count keyfigures is more in number including standard or added via PDI/Extension and same is applicable with charateristics as well, then a dump is noticed. 
The OLAP engine being used by the analytics framework cannot handle such a large number of fields at the same time & hence the dump occurs

The preview functionality on a data source is provided just to test the basic execution for a data source. It  is not meant to cover all scenarios.
Please create a report on top of this data source to check/verify your data. The report should execute without any dumps.
