Symptom

  •  When doing a deployment of a transport request there is the error:

java.io.IOException: Open file failed (filename: '1224d99daf7411e7aa90000000394c8e'). Cause: 'READ_ATTRIBUTES_FAILED'.caused by:com.sap.conn.jco.AbapException: (126) READ_ATTRIBUTES_FAILED: READ_ATTRIBUTES_FAILED

  • Or when doing a transport tools check for the Non ABAP system, it fails in the 'File Transfer' check in the 'Deploy Web Service' step:
