• SAP ASE is being restarted and ASE error log is reporting this message during recovery phase of the startup (dbid = 6 refers to 'saptempdb' database):

• A timeslice error may ensue. It references functions:
  
  write()
  multdb__set_tempdb()
  b_cerrlog_uio()
  multdb__setassigned_id()
  login() 
  
  
• Checking ASE Configuration from DBACockpit you can see this parameter 'enable logins during recovery' has value 1.

• Corresponding to the above occurrence, ASE Error SQL590 maybe received while trying to logon into the system thru SAP Logon - ST22 short dump - :

Database error text: "SQL message: [ASE Error SQL590][SAP][ASE ODBC
Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Dynamic SQL error - Prepared statement
'U3' does not exist.#"
