2552986 - IBP - Planning Area Activation Error: Expression is not valid: Evaluator: syntax error in expression string

After attempting to activate a planning area; the Application Log (in the web UI) gives the following similar kind of error:

W - The lowest time profile level must be used as storage time profile level.

E - Activation encountered an error.  Contact SAP

E - SQL Message: column store error: fail to create scenario: [34011] Inconsistent calculation model;calculationNode (X_X_X_XX) -> attributes -> attribute (XXXX) -> expression:Expression is not valid: Evaluator: syntax error in expression string;expected XX_XXXX,parsing 'fixed("XXXXX"[here]5, 12, 6)',Details (Errors):
