2553085 - Offline OData error: property type 'Collection(System.Collections.Generic.KeyValuePair_2OfString_Object)' is not supported

Symptom

  • An OData v2 service was created in the backend.
  • One entity in this service and very limited metadata.
  • The below error occurred when creating the offline store:

    [-10210] The operation failed due to an error on the server: -857 (SERVER_SYNCHRONIZATION_ERROR)
    ([-10225] Message: User exception: [-100099] An error occurred while parsing the metadata document for OData service with service root " http://XXXXXXXXXXX:8000/com.cintas.dynamics ". Error caused by: The given property type 'Collection(System.Collections.Generic.KeyValuePair_2OfString_Object)' is not supported.)
