2553151 - GR/GI message of EWM delivery is sent to a wrong ERP client/RFC destination, or fails in PPF

Symptom

When you book GR/GI for a delivery in EWM, the GR/GI message is not sent back to the ERP system properly.

  • The GR/GI message is sent to a wrong ERP client or wrong RFC destination
  • Error "An RFC destination could not be specified for the logical system ERPCLNTxxx" (B1550) occurs in PPF action
  • The PPF action remains 'yellow' and in ST22 there is a dump like this with the corresponding user, near the time of the PPF action failure:
    • Runtime Errors: CALL_FUNCTION_NO_DEST
      (Program: /SCWM/CL_MAPOUT_OD_CONF_DEC===CP)

    • Short Text: RFC destination *** does not exist.
