2553177 - Msg 15038 Cannot drop connection to it as it is the primary for some replication definitions - SAP SRS

Symptom

  • When attempting to drop the connection to dsname.dbname receives the error below.

Msg 15038, Level 12, State 0: Server 'XXX':

Database 'dsname.dbname' is the primary for some replication definitions.
Cannot drop connection to it.

  • Have checked KBA 2069421 and 2491334, but do not see any replication definitions using the dbid of this connection.
