2553756 - Supervisor disappeared from job information after initial load or is not searchable in job information

You are trying to add a manager for one employee but the managers is not appearing.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) - All Versions

1. Select the employee you want to assign a manager;
2. Go to employment information;
3. Edit the employment information;
4. Select the effective date;
5. Look for the manager and see that is returning no data;

Manager is not hired at the date you are trying to ad him;

The manager/supervisor field is validated via effective date, which means that the manage must exists on the system in the date you are trying to ad him.

EG: you are trying to add a record for one employee with start date on July 7, 2017 with a manager, but if you check this manager job information you can see that he was hired on October 13th, 2017.

With this, the record on July 7 will not be able to find any manager since on July 7 this manager was not hired yet.

Please make sure the effective date you are selecting for the employee is after the hire date of the manager.
