2554060 - Portlet/ Block search in the Talent Search v2

Symptom

The Employee Profile portlets/ blocks for matrix1placement & matrix2placement are not accessible in the Talent Search.

Environment

  • Succession
  • Talent Search

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Succession

2. Talent Search =

  • There is no option to use 'matrix1placement' or 'matrix2placement' as search criteria.
  • There is also no option to give permissions to search for this in Role Based Permission

Cause

Matrix1placement & matrix2placement are not configured for the Talent Search.

Resolution

The XML of the Data Model needs to be configured to allow these portlets to be accessable. This configuration must be done by your Partner or Professional Services.

Once configured you then need to grant the 'Talent Search Field permission' for this portlet in RBP.
