2554187 - SAP Single Sign-On - No user exists with SNC name "p:SECURE LOGIN ENCRYPTION ONLY MODE"

Symptom

  • SNC for Kerberos using SAP Single Sign-On 3.0 is configured.  On attempted logon to SAP GUI, SSO doesn't work and you see the message:

    No user exists with SNC name "p:SECURE LOGIN ENCRYPTION ONLY MODE"

  • The Secure Login Client "Developer Traces" shows one of the following:

    1. That the server does not accept Kerberos: 

    [sbus.exe][sbus.dll] Server accepts:
    [sbus.exe][sbus.dll]   Kerberos: no  
    [sbus.exe][sbus.dll]   X.509: yes
    [sbus.exe][sbus.dll]   EncryptionOnly: yes

    OR

    2. That the issue is related to the Kerberos token:

    [sbus.exe][Kerberos][  1252] Getting kerberos ticket for 'SAP/<Name>' failed
