Symptom

While trying to activate Open Item 'Clearing Specific to Ledger Groups' for a GL account when the account balance is zero, using the program FAGL_SWITCH_TO_OPEN_ITEM (Tcode FAGL_ACTIVATE_OP), you receive the following error: FAGL_POSTING008: "Not possible to set Clearing Specific to Ledger Group indicator", even though Line/Open Item Management is active in the GL Master data.
