2554475 - Migration Cockpit: after Material Master migration views are missing or unwanted views being created

Symptom

After migration of Material Master using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit the following issues may appear:

  • After the data migration a view (for example, Purchasing View) is missing; or
  • Unwanted additional views are created; or
  • Error messages belonging to fields that you do not provide with the template but are on additional views that will be created.

This normally happens if one does not maintain a value for the "Maintenance Status Settings". More details can be found in the "Mapping Instruction" setting of the Migration object documentation for the "Material" object.
