2554939 - Monthly based Time Sheet related questions

We want to know whether the EC Time Sheet can cover the following requirements:

1.A monthly surplus of overtime can be cumulated up to max. 20 hours. Any surplus of exceeding 20 hours at the end of the given month will be cut off. Is there a way to have a cut-off rule when a certain max. per month exceeded?

2.The employee may not carry forward a surplus of 10 overtime hours per month. As the time sheet is based on weekly base can this be realized on a monthly base?

3.We have different type absences. Absences are currently requested via Time off. Can also be specified that certain absences (requested in hours) only via Time Sheet can be requested?

4. Can we a special workflow for overtime to be paid out

5. Can we restrict amendment /modification of a timesheet based on 1st of every month (monthly instead of weekly)?

6. When the employee enters overtime data in timesheet, they want it to go for approval for the current week.

Answer: Since timesheet is weekly based this requirement is not possible.

2.The employee may not carry forward a surplus of 10 overtime hours per month. As the time sheet is based on weekly base can this be realized on a monthly base?

Answer: Since timesheet is weekly based this requirement is not possible.

3.We have different type absences. Absences are currently requested via Time off. Can also be specified that certain absences (requested in hours) only via Time Sheet can be requested?

Answer: Currently if a time type is disabled self service under time profile, the time type also disappears from the timesheet dropdown. There is no way to handle the visibility separately.

4. Can we a special workflow for overtime to be paid out?

Answer: Not possible to trigger a different workflow only for overtime.

5. Can we restrict amendment /modification of a timesheet based on 1st of every month (monthly instead of weekly)?

Answer: Since timesheet is weekly based this requirement is not possible.

6. When the employee enters overtime data in timesheet, they want it to go for approval for the current week.

Answer: The time sheet submit job runs at the end of the week and auto-submits. In case employee records any deviation to already submitted timesheet, only that goes for a workflow approval. Therefore, current time sheet you can save it with the deviation recording but it will auto-submit
