Reproducing the Issue

After creating the query the pivot query desiner is greyed out.

Resolution

  1. Home > Reporting
  2. On Report Center > Select New > Report Canvas > Select
  3. Give a Report Name > Done

  4. Add Component > Tables > Add List Report Component

  5. Edit the Query > Advanced Reporting > New

  6. Build an Advanced Reporting (Realms) query > Save the Query > Return > Ok

  7. Edit Formatting > Export the Query > Give a name while Exporting the Query > Export

  8. Add Component > Tables > Add Published Data Component

  9. Select the Published Data Component > Edit Query > Pivot Queries > New Query

  10. Click Cancel

  11. Select an existing data source

  12. Select Advanced Reporting > Select the Query which is exported in Step 4 > Ok

  13. Now you have option to create Pivot
