2557446 - Remove the substitute relation without losing already received completions

How to remove the substitute relation from an item but keep the completions already granted to users?

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. 'Item A' has a substitute relationship configured for 'Item B' (completing 'Item B' grants credit for 'Item A') > 
2. A user completed the substitute item ('Item B'), thereby granting completion for 'Item A' > 
3. The admin wants to remove the substitute relation in 'Item A' but does not want users to lose the completions they have already received. 

1. Go to the item record from which you want to remove the substitute relation >
2. Navigate to the 'Substitutes' tab >
3. Mark the checkbox next to the substitute item >
4. Click the 'Remove' icon >
5. You will be prompted with a warning:
   
   Removing substitutes will also remove the substitute credit history records and may no longer be available. Please choose an option.
   
   
   • Remove historical records: Will remove the substitute relationship from the item and the completions already granted from this particular substitute.
   • Keep historical records: Will remove the substitute relation from the item while not removing the completion already granted from this particular substitute.
   • Cancel: Will not remove the substitute relation nor any completion previously granted.

Note: It is advised to remove one substitute relation at a time to propagate the correct changes for the users.
