2557702 - Navigating to Thing Inspector by Link is Not Possible

You are not able to Navigate to TI Screen while clicking on Link.

SAP Cloud Application Studio all releases.

1. Go to Cloud Application Studio
2. Open Solution Yxxxxxxxx _ ( Yxxxxxx_ represents solution name)
3. Navigate to the OWL Screen ZZZZ_OWL.uicomponent. (ZZZZ_OWL_ represents OWL name)
4. Select the field where the link is enabled.
5. You are unable to navigate to TI Screen while clicking on this link.

You have not done proper modeling to the link from the UI designer and not used any on Click event , hence navigating to TI by Link is Not Possible.

To check the modeling and on click event please follow the below steps:

1. Go to UI designer.
2. Open the affected OWL.
3. In our case  its ZZZZ_OWL.uicomponent
4. Select the field and go to properties tab.
5. Check the Events Onclick should be maintainted.

6. Also for checking binding navigate to Data model tab.

7. Select the field and maintain the details for Thing Type information in properties section.

8. Save and activate the ZZZZ_OWL ui component.
