2557819 - You Are Not Able to Select Services with Type SEFL - "Service - Fixed Price without Actuals" in a Contract

You are not able to add the service item into contract. The service is not visible in the selection help.

SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Go to the Contracts view.
3. Click New to open the New Contract window, maintain the necessary in the General tab.
4. Go to the Items tab, click Add Row, open the product value help, the Service ABC is not available. (ABC represents the ID of service item).

The item group of this service ABC is SEFL - Service - fixed price without actuals.

You do not enable the service type for sales without tracking actuals. Thus the service item with type fixed price without actuals is not supported in sales including contract.

You need to enable the sales without tracking actuals for sales.

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the implementation project and click Edit Project Scope.
4. Go to step Questions.
5. Expande Sales -> Product and Service Portfolio for Sales -> Sell Services, check the question: Do you sell or provide services for a fixed price, but do not track the actual time and materials needed?

You need to select this question and make it in scope.
