2557870 - Invalid logon credentials / Account locked error message while connecting to an MDM SLAVE repository

You are using the MDM MASTER-SLAVE repository scenario in your landscape. Previously, the user profile of the affected MDM Oracle DB users has been changed to 'SAPUPROF' from 'DEFAULT'. (Regarding the MDM DB users and the SAP database user profiles read the See Also section)

The MASTER repository is available, users can connect to it. However, when connecting to the SLAVE repository one of the below error messages are shown:

You have already checked the SAP Note: 2362606 - Error Connecting to Repository - Account Locked - MDM Console error while connecting to repository. The account of the user cannot be reset using another repository user, the Admin user is not able to connect either.
