2558064 - How to modify Sales Group

You want to change the Sales Group of an Account, however the view Mass Change of Account Data under the workcenter Common Tasks does not provide you an option to do so.

1. Go to Business Partners work center
2. Select the view Mass Change Account Data under Common tasks workcenter
3. Search and select the desired account for which you want to change the Sales group
4. Go to the button Add to Work List and select Selected Account
5. Select Next
6. In the Change Accounts screen select Show Sales Data

You can see in the Change Accounts screen that there is no option to change Sales Group

You can not Mass change Account Sales Group from the Change Account view.

Also Mass Data Maintenance and Data Workbench doesn't provide an option to modify the field Sales Group

Go to Migration of Customers and use the Modify already Existing Records mode to update the Sales office and Sales Group data.

The option to modify the Sales Group using Mass Dataa Maintenance will be available in one of the future releases.
