2558144 - Error Message "Cannot create price list with this Area of Validity; check long text" While Migrating Price List

Symptom

You are migrating Price List and you are getting the below error message:

Cannot create price list with this Area of Validity; check long text
Technical error in Price List Maintenance; report an case

Environment

SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview.
3. Search and Open the migration activity Migration of Price Lists.
4. Execute Migration for the respective Migration File.

Cause

Migration of Account Hierarchy Specific Price list is not supported in Cloud for Customer system.

Resolution

You have to create header first from UI and then update item using excel template. You can follow the below steps:

1. Create header from UI and release the price list.
2. Fill the migration template.
3. Fill Header level.
a. List ID.
b. Valid from.
c. Valid to.
d. Currency, and the items normally.

Note : In both scenario you have to release the price list you have created from UI.
