2558204 - Incorrect Target Logistics Area Proposed in Post Goods Receipt

You are processing an Inbound Delivery and when you're proceeding with the Post Goods Receipt an incorrect Target Logistics Area (different from the Ship-To Location) is proposed by the system.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Work Center Inbound Logistics.
2. View Purchase Orders.
3. Show All Purchase Orders and Find XXX (XXX represents the Purchase Order ID).
4. Click Post Goods Receipt button.
5. See that the Target Logistics Area ID is different from the Ship-To Location.

No Material Flow Rules for the affected Logistics Areas are maintained, therefore by default the system pulls the Logistic Area with basic rule 'First Found' under the Site.

To resolve the issue, you must maintain Material Flow Rules for the location you would like to be picked up as a Target Logistics Area. This material flow rule is a sequence of logistics areas and locations as well as picking and put away strategies which describe where and how the search is conducted.
