How to add an image as background for the header on SuccessFactors

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

Resolution

It is possible to add a customized image as the background for the header on your system.

To do so, follow the steps:

  1. Once logged into your system, search for 'Theme Manager'
  2. Select the current theme being used
  3. Go to 'Fine Tune' > 'Header Background'
  4. Select 'Upload Image'
  5. Browse for the image you want to use as header background
  6. Once image is selected, click on 'Upload'
  7. You may adjust the image display
  8. Once everything is set, click on 'Save'

For reference, SuccessFactors uses the header background image of 2500x117 pixels (maximum). This will be large enough for most screens.

Note: If you need to change the header color after, then you can either upload another image or change to 'Fine Tune' -> 'Header Background' -> 'Solid Color'
