Total bar is not calculated/displayed correctly on waterfall chart in SAP Analytics Cloud (formerly known as SAP BusinessObjects Cloud / BOC).

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2017.20.2

1. Create a Story with Table and show totals on the table
2. Insert Waterfall chart and display the measures and dimentions, same as Table
3. Check the Total bar on the Chart

This behavior is by design.

For waterfall charts, it requires a hierarchical dimension to show the measure value broken down to sub-dimension members and the last bar is always a "Total" bar.
