2558404 - The buffer synchronization has not been called for N seconds

Symptom

You find on System Log (transaction SM21) following entry:
   01:23:45 DIA  <wp_nr> 000 SAPSYS                    BS  5 The buffer synchronization has not been called for N seconds

Checking involved work process trace file (dev_w<wp_nr>), it shows:

 B dbsync[db_syexe]: { wait=0, call_no=106851, current_ts=20171019100930, last_counter=6426772
B *** ERROR => dbsync[check_sync_interval]: N seconds passed since last synchronisation
last sync: 20171019100716(1508400436), now: 20171019100930(1508400570) [dbsync.c 4483]
B {root-id=005056992F441EE7AD949A930B1D2691}_{conn-id=00000000000000000000000000000000}_0
B ***LOG BS5=> Buffer synchronisation has not been called for N seconds [dbsync 4485]

Buffer synchronization is normally called in intervals of 'rdisp/bufreftime' seconds, which is 120 seconds by default.
If time period since last synchronization is greater than this value, then the System Log warning will be entered:
    BS  5 The buffer synchronization has not been called for N seconds
