2559538 - Transfer Event Reason Field Is Showing Unexpected Event Reason - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

In the termination screen, the transfer event reason field is showing:

• All the event reasons;
• Unexpected event reasons; or
• Missing expected event reasons

1. Login to the instance
2. Navigate to the termination page of an employee
3. Under the option to select the Transfer Event Reason for Direct Reports, see that many invalid event reasons are available.

All Event Reasons with the 'Employee Status' = 'No Selection', that are not a Hire/Rehire event, or an 'Add GA' event will be displayed in the dropdown.

Ensure that only valid event reasons are set with Employee Status "No Selection". For hire, termination or other specific event reasons, ensure that Employee Status is set correctly under Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures.

You should never use the Employee Status field to determine whether a field is visible in the Transfer reason under termination UI because this will also affect the MSS/ESS visibility for that event reason.
