2559725 - Deadlock detected in ABAP Short Dump or db2diag.log

Symptom

  • An SQL error SQL0911N is encountered in one of the following situations:
  • When an ABAP short dump occurs.
  • When scanning the db2diag.log or the SAP developer traces.  The error message contains the following text:
    The current transaction has been rolled back because of a deadlock or timeout with reason code 68, (timeout), reason code 2 (deadlock)
