  5. The read only screen goes into edit mode.

You have selected the "Relevant for Work Protect" checkbox in the UI Designer for the respective Event/ Action.

How to find the screen in the UI Designer:

  1. Launch the UI designer for the respective screen.
  2. Find the Event/ Action associated with the custom EC which you have created.
  3. Select the Operation.
  4. Under the Configure the Operation section, you can find that the option "Relevant for Work Protect" is selected.
  5. You need to go to Edit mode and Deselect the "Relevant for Work Protect", save and activate the screen.

Note: Also verify if the event/action performs any data operation on any of the associated fields on the screen and that field is marked as "Work Protection Relevant" or not. If yes, you would have to deselect the option for the field as well.
