2560131 - SLT - Impact of deactivating logging for frequently updated tables

Symptom

  • For one of the table in source production system delta changes are very high and this in turn is captured in the logging tables and pushed to SLT server. 
  • The no of records captured by the logging table  is very high and this inturn is creating a large number of archive generation. 
  • You are considering deactivating logging, so that it bypasses the writing of the redo log , thereby significantly reducing archive log generation.
