Why can I no longer use Legacy Leave of Absence feature?

IMPORTANT NOTE:

If you want to use Leave of Absence feature with Employee Central, you cannot use the legacy Leave of Absence feature. You must therefore plan to implement the "Time Off for Leave of Absence Only" feature if you want to continue using the Leave of Absence functionality.

As the legacy Leave of Absence feature is not supported and does not work in People Profile - you must implement either:

• Time Off feature - If you are already using Time Off, then you will be using the Time Off LOA tools (which handles both LOA and regular accrued leaves) - thereore you have nothing to consider.

OR

• Time Off for Leave of Absence Only feature - If you are already using the "Time Off for Leave of Absence Only" (handles only LOA, is best Practice, highly recommended, far better than a custom solution) then you will not have to upgrade

What versions of Time Off should we enable?

• If you enable only the flag "Enable Time Off" then you will have to implement both the regular Time Off, which lets you manage both Accrual based Time Off and also LOA Time Off.
• If you enable both the "Enable Time Off" and "Enable Time Off for Leave of Absence only" features, then you will only be able to manage LOA using the Time Off application.
