2560471 - Java Bootstrap Error return code 2 during installation

Symptom

During the installation of an Additional Application Server AS Java using Software Provisioning Manager (SAP Note: 1680045) fails with error, (/<sapinst_instdir>/.../sapinst_dev.log):

"An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.5 > Oracle > Installation > Additional SAP System Instances > Additional Application Server Instance(Last error reported by the step:
Process call '/usr/sap/BES/J02/exe/jstart pf=/usr/sap/BES/SYS/profile/BES_J02_hostname -file=/usr/sap/BES/J02/exe/startup.properties -nodename=bootstrap -launch' exits with error code 2.
