Symptom

  • SMP server is not starting properly
  • SMP server admin issue, getting blank screen after entering the admin credentials
  • !MESSAGE Unexpected exception occurred loading manifest for bundle at the location: reference:file:webapps/sapui5/.
  • Caused by: org.eclipse.osgi.service.pluginconversion.PluginConversionException: Could not find a META-INF/MANIFEST.MF, plugin.xml or a fragment.xml in D:\SAP\Server\webapps\sapui5.
  • Root exception: org.eclipse.osgi.service.pluginconversion.PluginConversionException: Could not find a META-INF/MANIFEST.MF, plugin.xml or a fragment.xml in D:\SAP\Server\webapps\sapui5.
