2560881 - Fiori Launchpad app: refused to connect/display Error, X-Frame Options set to SAMEORIGIN

Symptom

  • When accessing certain apps in the Fiori Launchpad, one may encounter a blank screen.
    In Google Chrome, hovering the mouse over this blank screen displays the message
     "<server address> refused to connect".

  • Possible error messages that may be shown include:
    • Refused to display 'https://...' in a frame because it set ‘X-Frame Options’ to ‘sameorigin’Error: Refused to display 'https://...' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'
    • Refused to display 'https://...' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'deny'
    • This content cannot be displayed in a frame. To help protect the security of information... this content does not allow it to be displayed in a frame.
    • Login.microsoftonline.com refused to connect error
