Symptom
The system does not prevent the admin to assign a program with a class if the user is already assigned/enrolled to another class with the same scheduled date and time, causing agenda conflict.
Environment
SAP Successfactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Create two items, ITEM A and ITEM B >
- Create two classes, one for each item, with the same schedule date and time >
- Assign ITEM A to a user >
- Create an scheduled program and add the class create for ITEM B in the step 2 >
- Now assign this program to the same user via an admin and you would see that the program will get enrolled status as soon as the program is assigned. This is ignoring the actual class conflicts in the system.
Below configurations are checked while replicating:
- From System Admin > Configuration > User Settings > we have two options:
- Prevent Admins and Supervisors from creating user schedule conflicts.
- Prevent Users from creating user schedule conflicts.
Cause
With the current application offerings, there is not a validation check which happens while assigning any program in the system. This is as per the system design.
Resolution
This is validated as the application behavior per our Product Engineering team.
