2561100 - Currency Conversion in CDS Queries - Could not determine valid conversion rate for value(s) ...

Symptom

When running a CDS Query with a currency_conversion function an error such as the follows occur:

Error Database returned the SQL code 2,048. Error text: column store error: search table error: [2620] executor: plan operation failed;currency/unit ...
Error sion error,Conversion( "COL$8$", "COL$9$" ), row 760: could not determine valid conversion rate for value(s) 41.34, 41.34 from unit 'CNY' to unit ...

Error while reading data; navigation is possible

In the indexserver logfile of HANA database more detailed information related to the error is written(Transaction DBACOCKPIT. The file starts with indexserver_alert_ (path: Diagnostics -> Diagnosis Files))

In some case a BRAIN 380 error message is visible in the ODATA Response or when testing the CDS query in RSRT:

BRAIN 380: No echange rate from <...> to <...> and date <...> found
