2561246 - Courses are re-assigned to users after completion

When a user completes a course, it is automatically reassigned again to the user. The course is not linked to any Curricula or Assignment Profile and when they are re-assigned in the 'Assigned by field' it says that it is assigned by themselves or another user. Additionally, the course appears in 'Completed Items' and 'Assigned Items' tab in Learning Administration side.

1. Go to the Learning User side >
2. Start and complete a course >
3. Check the user profile in Learning Administration side >
4. In the 'Assigned Items' and 'Completed Items' tab, the course will still exist.

This behavior is caused by a setting that can be found by going to:

1. Learning Administration >
2. System Administration >
3. Configuration >
4. Global Application Settings > 
5. When the setting 'Grant Credit for Events completed the day before Assignment date' is not being ticked.

When courses are completed across multiple timezones the system will re-assign a course if its completion date is earlier than the assignment date.

Enable the setting 'Grant Credit for Events completed the day before Assignment date'.

Any existing assigned items that have been wrongly re-assigned should be removed manually by an administrator. The setting will take effect for any new courses assigned after the setting was applied.
