Symptom

  • Error: "Failed. Please check the logs or contact your SAP Business Objects Administrator" when clicking on Apply in the Prompts section of a publication based on a Web Intelligence source document in BI launchpad.
  • Error: "Cannot cast class com.businessobjects.sdk.plugin.desktop.publication.internal.Publication to interface com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.infostore.IContent"  when clicking on Apply in the Prompts section of the same publication in CMC.
  • The issue occurs only with publication. The schedule runs successfully.
