2562110 - Development function currently not available due to upgrade preparations - Extensibility Applications

Symptom

  • You are trying to use Extensibility Applications, such as Custom Analytical Queries and Custom Business Objects, but the "edit" or "create" buttons are greyed out.
  • Some of the Extensibility Apps are triggering the error message: "Development function currently not available due to upgrade preparation."
  • Some of the Extensibility Apps are triggering the error message: "Editing is not allowed on this system."
  • Application Jobs apps that have jobs scheduled during the upgrade may remain in the Status "Scheduled" with no error

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

Extensibility is not possible during the upgrade or during any maintenance activity process.

Resolution

Extensibility will be available again once the activity is complete.
